Mod. S.213 - A percussione
Nato da un’elaborazione delle armi
tedesche da caccia “Jäger”, fu il grande
rivale americano del fucile Brown Bess.
Arma tipica dei coloni americani, il
Kentucky divenne popolare negli Stati
per la leggerezza e la precisione. La
canna è brunita, i fornimenti sono in
ottone e il calcio è in noce lucidato a
olio.

This rifle evolved from the German
hunting guns and was a major rival of
the Brown Bess. Typical rifle in use in
the American colonies it became, thanks
to its lightness and accuracy, one of the
most popular American rifles. The
barrel is blue finished, all fittings are of
polished brass and the walnut stock is
oil finished.

Riproduzione del fucile usato dalle
truppe texane durante la battaglia di
Alamo, da cui il nome. Sulla tabacchiera
sono riprodotte due scene della
rivoluzione del Texas: “la resistenza di
Alamo”, difeso per tredici giorni da 189
militari contro 4.000 messicani, e “la
resa del Generale Santa Ana”, al
Generale SamHouston, dopo la battaglia
di San Jacinto del 21 aprile 1836. È
dotato di stecher regolabile a due grilletti
e tacca di mira. La canna ottagonale è
brunita e il calcio è in noce.

Reproduction of the historical rifle used
by the Texas troops during the battle of
the Alamo. Shown on the patch box are
two scenes from the war of
independence: the resistance of the
Alamo, defended for 13 days by 189
soldiers against 4000 Mexicans and
“General Santa Ana’s” surrender to
General Sam Houston, after the San
Jacinto battle, on April 21st 1836. It is
provided with adjustable double set
trigger and rear sight. Blue finished
barrel and walnut stock.
