The Hawken is a symbol of the period
that saw the passage from the long and
heavy small caliber Pennsylvania rifles
to more practical and powerful Plains
rifles, and the definite abandoning of
the flintlock for the far more modern
percussion system. The strong barrel
and the larger calibre, enabled hits on
any target with surprising accuracy.
This rifle soon became the inseparable
friend of the Mountains men, and the
most famous explorers of the American
continent.
The Rocky Mountain Hawken is offered
with the maple stock or walnut stock
with a barrel having 7 grooves obtained
by broaching, rust brown colour finish,
steel metal parts.

The popularity obtained by the Rocky
Mountain Hawken rifle and the
suggestions from several target
shooters and hunters contributed to our
adding new calibers, .45 and .50, twist
and barrel length. Available with maple
and walnut stock. The barrel features
an octagonal cross-section, rust brown
colour finish, and a case hardened
colour lock. It is equipped with double
set trigger. Perfect for hunting and
target shooting.

Il gradimento riscosso dal fucile Rocky
Mountain Hawken e i suggerimenti di
numerosi tiratori e cacciatori hanno
contribuito alla definizione di questo
modello rivisitato nel calibro, nel passo
di rigatura e nella lunghezza della can-
na. Disponibile con la calciatura in acero
oppure in noce. La canna presenta una
sezione ottagonale con brunitura colore
marrone, l’acciarino è color tartaruga.
Lo scatto è servito da stecher a doppio
grilletto. Ideale per la caccia e il tiro di
precisione.

moderno sistema a percussione. La ro-
busta canna e il calibro quasi mai infe-
riore al .50 rivelarono subito una sor-
prendente precisione e quel fucile di-
venne compagno inseparabile dei solita-
ri
Mountains men
e dei più famosi
esploratori del continente americano.
Il Rocky Mountain Hawken viene pro-
posto con il calcio in acero oppure in
noce e con canna solcata da sette righe
ottenute per brocciatura e finita esterna-
mente colore marrone; i fornimenti so-
no in acciaio.
