Nato in Germania e nei Paesi limitrofi, so-
prattutto per la caccia, venne portato nel
Nuovo Continente dagli emigranti in cerca
di una nuova vita e di una nuova patria. Lo
Jäger fu una delle armi più bilanciate e
compatte, caratterizzato da un grosso cali-
bro e dotato di stecher a due grilletti, era
precisissimo e in grado di sparare palle con
una energia molto elevata. Nato a pietra
focaia, solo più tardi verrà trasformato in
arma a percussione. La nostra produzione,
oltre a riproporre le caratteristiche tecni-
che, garantendo ai tiratori ottimi risultati
balistici grazie a rigature eseguite per
brocciatura e parti meccaniche dell’accia-
rino prodotte con sofisticati macchinari a
controllo numerico, racchiude in sé l’aspet-
to artistico riproponendo lo stesso tipo di
tabacchiera con coperchio scorrevole, non-
ché il calcio in noce completato da forni-
menti in acciaio. È l’arma ideale sia per la
caccia sia per il tiro di precisione.

The Jäger rifle is well known in Germany
and in the neighbouring Countries
especially for hunting, it was taken to the
New Continent by immigrants looking
for a new life in a new Country. The Jäger
rifle was one the most balanced and
compact rifles, very characteristic for its
big calibre; equipped with double set
trigger, it was very precise, able to shoot
big balls having a very high energy. The
Jäger rifle was first made in the flintlock
version and only afterwards it was
transformed to a percussion rifle. Our
reproduction gives the shooter improved
results due to the broached rifling as well
as the lock parts produced on highly
advanced computer controlled machines
(CNC). The fine artistic beauty is captured
in the patch box with sliding lid, in the
walnut wood and completed with steel
furniture and fittings which create a
strong image for this rifle. It is a fine
performing rifle, both for hunting and for
target shooting.

Su richiesta di numerosi tiratori, il
tradizionale fucile da caccia mitteleuropeo
del Settecento assume un aspetto più
sportivo e si veste di “giallo”. Questa nuova
versione infatti è caratterizzata dai
fornimenti in ottone, dalla diottra
regolabile in verticale e orizzontale e dal
tipico mirino a tunnel aperto. Sulla canna
è stata realizzata una brunitura antiriflesso
color marrone e l’acciarino è color argento
vecchio. Il calcio in noce, lucidato a olio,
presenta due pannelli con zigrino a squame
di pesce.

On request of many shooters, the
traditional hunting rifle of the middle
European 1700s period puts on a more
sportive look, “dressing of yellow”. This
new version features brass furniture that
remind those of the martial use, like the
Creedmoor sight adjustable in windage
and elevation and the typical open tunnel
front sight. The barrel has a matt rust
brown colour, the lock is coin finish
colour. The walnut stock, oil finished, has
a fine fish-like checkering of the grip.
