“SHARPS PTD”, un nome che ha fatto
sognare tiratori e collezionisti di tutto il
mondo.
In seguito alle richieste dei nostri distri-
butori e tiratori abbiamo iniziato, già da
parecchi anni, la produzione di una delle
armi più famose e apprezzate del perio-
do della Guerra Civile Americana.
La nostra gamma di fucili Sharps, che
presentiamo sempre con orgoglio, com-
prende tanto le versioni a cartuccia di
carta quanto quelle a cartuccia metallica.
Tutti i modelli sono prodotti utilizzando i
migliori materiali e le tecnologie più mo-
derne, per ottenere un’arma di assoluta
qualità. Tutti i componenti principali so-
no realizzati da metalli forgiati al fine di
assicurare una maggior resistenza, e la
rigatura delle canne, ottenuta per broc-
ciatura, garantisce sempre ottimi risulta-
ti nel tiro.
Tutti i modelli, inoltre, sono predisposti
per il montaggio della diottra (pagg.
82-83) e, a eccezione dei modelli militari,
per l’applicazione del mirino a tunnel con
inserti intercambiabili (pag. 84).

To satisfy the request of our customers
and shooters, some years ago, we
started a project for the production of
one of the most famous rifles of the
American Civil War era.
The range of rifles includes all the most
significant versions among the paper
cartridge and the metal cartridge
models. For all models we have used the
best materials and latest techniques, so
to ensure a top quality product. The
most important parts are machined
from forged metals for maximum
durability and strength and the deep
rifling is broached and ensures excellent
results in long distance shooting.
All the models are drilled and tapped
to install the Creedmoor sights (pages
82-83) and the front tunnel sights with
interchangeable inserts (page 84),
except for the military models.

Fra gli Sharps a cartuccia di carta (1859
e 1863) troviamo sia il modello
Sporting, con canna ottagonale color
damasco, mirino regolabile e stecher, sia
i modelli Infantry e Cavalry con canna
tonda brunita, trattenuta da fascette,
mirino fisso e tabacchiera.
Del modello Infantry è disponibile la
versione Berdan, dotata di stecher a
due grilletti. Tutti i modelli, inoltre,
presentano una tacca di mira con alzo e
cursore.

Among the paper cartridge Sharps
rifles (1859 & 1863 models) you can
findthe Sporting modelwithoctagonal
barrel rust brown finish colour,
adjustable front sight and set trigger,
the Infantry and Cavalry models
with blue round barrel, kept by bands,
have fixed front sight and patchbox on
the stock. Of the Infantry model there is
also the Berdan version, equipped
with double set trigger. All the models
are equipped with graduated rear sight
with sliding plate.
